"Black Belt Rehab offers world-class injury management for grappling athletes of all levels, both online and in-person.
With sports-specific knowledge and expertise in sports and exercise medicine, I’ll help you understand your injuries, recover well, and reduce the risk of re-injury.
If you’ve experienced injuries on the mats and are looking to feel more confident in your body to meet the demands of grappling, I’m here to help."

Real solutions, from someone who gets it
Tim combines his post-graduate degrees in Sports and Exercise Medicine and Teaching and Learning with his black belt in jiu jitsu to offer specialist services for grappling and combat sports athletes to manage their pain and injuries.
Tim understands first-hand the challenges of seeking health professional support from people who don't have experience in the sport or an understanding of the unique demands placed on athletes.
As a black belt with experience training and competing nationally and internationally, Tim understand the importance of mat time for your training progression and mental health. That's the reason Tim advocates for continued training around injuries, and will never tell athletes to stop training completely. We might agree that you need to take a few steps back in intensity and follow a return to grappling framework, but you'll never need to step away completely.
Tim worked for over 12 years in rugby, developing my diagnosis, treatment and rehab skills, and has 15 years of clinical experience in the UK and Australia. Much of Tim's time is now focused on education and research, but is fortunate to now dedicate clinical time on working with combat sports and grappling athletes.
